Next Gen iPhone Specs and Release Date

According to an article from Wired, (Actually, Wired is reporting on AppleiPhoneApps’ rumor, an insider from Apple’s hardware team has leaked the next generation iPhone specs, along with a speculated release date of July 17. Many of these specs leaked go along with the screenshots of things we’ve seen lately, including the digital compass, video recorder and video editing. The full list of possible specs include:

32GB and 16GB to replace current capacities
$199 and $299 price-points to be maintained
3.2 Megapixel camera
Video recording & editing capabilities
Ability to send a picture & video via MMS
Discontinuation of the metal band surrounding the edge of the device
OLED screen
1.5X The battery life
Double the RAM and processing power
Built-in FM transmitter
Apple logo on the back to light up
Rubber-tread backing
Sleeker design
Built-in compass
Revolutionary combination of the camera, GPS, compass, and Google maps to identify photo and inform about photo locations.

OLED would be especially great, making the screen look nicer than it already is and have support for higher resolutions.

The iPhone Flower Garden App looks absolutely fantastic. The concept is very simple simple : plant seeds in a pot, water them, and watch them grow into flowers, all done with a wonderful UI (user interface) and eye candy animation. You unlock new types of flowers as you go along, some of which will grow immediately, and others that take days of tending and watering. When you have flowers in bloom, you can cut various flowers from different types and combine them to make a beautiful bouquet that you can send via email to that special someone. Future improvements and functions for the iPhone Flower Garden app, may go beyond the “grow/cut/send” concept of the current version. Eventually, the developer will be adding in the ability to cross polinate between other Flower Garden users to create completely new breeds of flowers. In other words, the first online flower growing game!? The developer mentioned the future ability to actually grow flowers into messages for the recipient. So a user could create a flower seed with a message that you can send to someone. As they tend to the seeds, they will grow into a flowery message for that person. Rumors about the next generation iPhone continue, according to Digitimes, Apple is ordering new parts for the next iPhone due in June, since the first generation iPhone was released in June 2007 and iPhone 3G on June 2008 it makes sense that Apple will release a new phone in June, rumors about a new device, a netbook or tablet pc 10″ touch screen is also on the make and Steve Jobs is still in main operations even he is absent until June.

Entry Level iPhone and a Refreshed iPhone 3G in July

Rumors of an new entry level iPhone and a new iPhone 3G in July, the entry level iPhone will be and crippled iPhone for $99 without 3G networks, will relly on EDGE 2G, no GPS, probably no App Store due less speed on connection. The refreshed iPhone 3G suposed to have more resolution screen ate the same 3.5″ with 720×480 from 480×320 from the current model, the camera still a 2Megapixel but with video recording . Both handsets are expected at July like every iPhone release.

How to Add Photos in iPhone into Folders

I have seen some iPhone videos where they have all the pictures organized in folders, i allways wonder how?After a few googles i find out how, and the solution is simple, it’s not very complicated at all. This following method is for PC users, for Mac users it would involve the same but tinkering with iPhoto. More on that later!
How to Add Photos to iPhone into Folders

Step One: Create a new folder on your desktop. Within this folder, create new folders and rename them to whatever you wish. EG Travel, Family, etc. Drag and drop your specific pictures into these renamed folders.

Step Two: Plug in your iPhone and launch iTunes. Click on your iPhone, and under the Photos tab at the top, tick off the appropriate folders you want your iPhone to sync with (these being the folders you just created and renamed). Next, sync your iPhone and TADA! Organized folders on your iPhone will appear!

Brothers in Arms “Hour of Heroes” First Person Shooter for iPhone

I was really excited to see one of the best FPS (first person shooter) games for consoles and PC in the app store. Of course the first thing I wanted to know is how well did the controls work on the iPhone and was it worth the £5.99. When I downloaded it there were few reviews in the App Store on the iPhone the game is ranking 3.5 Stars out of 5 and the site I found it on just announced it’s release and did actually review the game play. The download is pretty big (81.6MB) so it takes a few minutes to install even over wifi. I later found some reviews in iTunes on my computer about a problem I was having. Now, on to the review. The controls are pretty sweet. There’s like a touchpad on the left for forward back and strafe. Just swipe up, down, left or right to look around and there is a button in the bottom right to shoot. It was pretty glitchy for me but it seemed to be smooth for a few seconds, then glitchy, then smooth.
