If you are looking for a good count down application for your iPhone or iPod Touch, Days Until is a cool one, Days until is a free app which monitors and displays the days remaining until special events in your life, this can be done with a a nice interface and is fully customizable.

Only the one with the dog, ther others are screensots of the application, but yoy can use your own photos for the app and even take a picture while on the app and use it.
